Prof. Claudio Ajmone, chief of Scientific Research Equipe for Giù le Mani dai Bambini®, acting as Honorary President and advisor of Osservatorio Italiano sulla Salute Mentale managed the precious data-base “Pathologies and conditions mimicking ADHD”. Prof. Ajmone said: “the common statement that ADHD is characterized by a deficit of sustained attention and of executive capabilities, by impulsiveness and hyperactivity, is disappointed by the researches here gathered, which stress how these factors are common to a great variety of pathologies. It thus follows that ADHD is a psychiatric nosology without factors that characterize it or justify it scientifically.
